Sunshine Ace Hardware Acquire Morton's Ace Hardware

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - July 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Sunshine Ace Hardware has officially acquired Morton’s Ace Hardware of Port Charlotte. The addition extends Sunshine Ace Hardware’s service area into Charlotte County.

Established and operated since 1979 by the Waksler family, the culture and commitment to community of Morton’s Ace Hardware align with the Sunshine Ace Hardware brand and attributed to the decision to acquire the business.

“We were interested in Morton’s Ace Hardware because of the great business they had built and their culture of service that aligned with the values that we commit to as an organization,” commented Wynn. “We are looking for locations throughout Florida where we feel there is an opportunity to build on strong, long-term relationships in a growing community.”

Morton’s Ace Hardware is 12,500 square feet and employs 25 employees, virtually all of which will remain with the company. Many employees have been with the company for more than 10 years, some even more than 30 years, serving the Charlotte County community.

Established in 1958, Sunshine Ace Hardware has locations throughout Southwest Florida in Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Fort Myers and now Port Charlotte.
