SAN FRANCISCO - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- In collaboration with Ansanelli Productions, this August 15th the Top of Broadway Community Benefit District (CBD) brings to San Francisco the 1st Annual Off Broadway Summer Pop Up, a family friendly event featuring over 100 local artists, makers, designers, vintage apparel, and antique collectors curated by the Treasure Island Flea and Jack of All Trades Market.

Taking place from 12pm to 6pm, along the two blocks of Kearny Street and Pacific Avenue, the event is expected to attract locals to the area, increase commerce and re-introduce the historic neighborhood to San Francisco residents. Local businesses within the Top of Broadway Community Benefit District, as well as local non-profits have also been invited to participate in the day’s festivities, with many neighborhood restaurants, bars and storefronts offering specials and discounts throughout the event.

As Executive Director of the Top of Broadway Community Benefit District, Benjamin Horne explains, “We are very pleased to be partnering with Ansanelli Productions, a local firm, on our first of many events to bring locals to the area to experience all the great things the Broadway District has to offer – entertainment, food, drink and fun for the entire family.”

There’s lots of family fun to be had at the Off Broadway Summer Pop Up. Grab a drink in the beverage garden and enjoy continuous stage entertainment on Kearny Street, featuring live music from local bands, DIY workshops, and community performances. Kids activities including art stations and community games like corn hole and giant Jenga, will also be available throughout the day.

In addition to local restaurants, foodies can delight over a selection of food trucks along Pacific Avenue.

Launched with a mission to support local artists and entrepreneurs, the Treasure Island Flea debuted Memorial Day 2011. In addition the event showcases local musicians, entertainers and hosts a full bar with local wines, beers, and spirits. The event has been coined “the Festival of the Bay” and attracts an average attendance of 15,000.

Shortly after the launch of the Treasure Island Flea Ansanelli Productions was formed to grow and expand the mission. In October of 2013 Ansanelli Productions opened the Jack of All Trades Market at historic Jack London Square in Oakland. The new Market is held every second Saturday and has quickly become a favorite place to shop local and meet the makers.

Ansanelli Productions was also responsible for the launch and organizing of the Friday Night Market! Friday Night Market was held for eight Fridays from Sept. 2014- Oct. 2014 at the UN Plaza (middle market) in downtown San Francisco.
