LONDON - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- LIVE ROSFEST features a 12 track live concert CD along with a bonus DVD containing two feature films, “The Making Of Big Sky” and “The Syn In The 21st Century”.

LIVE ROSFEST was released just weeks before the untimely death of Syn co-founder Chris Squire on June 27, 2015. Speaking to mwe3.com about his 50 year relationship with the original bass player in The Syn, Chris Squire, Steve Nardelli recently wrote:

"I have taken a lot of time this week to remember the life of my friend Chris Squire and to immerse myself in the outpouring of compassion from all over the world at his passing. The thing that really hit me was the Love that Chris has generated and, to quote the Beatles, ‘the Love you take is equal to the Love you make’. Chris was such a positive force for good in this world through his amazing musical talents but also the pure Love that he created."

LIVE ROSFEST

Key Points:

♦ The Syn catalog dates back to the heyday of the ‘60s paisley pop and psychedelic rock era of the Beatles and early Pink Floyd.

♦  Syn founder Steve Nardelli still leads the Syn and the band has, over the past decade featured key contributions from two founding members of YES – Chris Squire and Peter Banks as well as honoring the late Syn keyboardist Andrew Pryce Jackman, who also orchestrated the 1975 Chris Squire solo album Fish Out Of Water.

♦ Of the original five members, Steve Nardelli is the sole survivor of the original Syn that recorded their big Sixties Beat-Prog hit "Grounded" and and he carries forth with the LIVE ROSFEST CD, recorded live on May 1st  2009 at the Rosfest music event near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

♦  LIVE ROSFEST also includes a DVD with 2 key movies: “The Making Of Big Sky” (a chronicle on the 2009 Big Sky CD) and a 2014 rockumentary called “The Syn In The 21st Century”, a 22 minute feature, directed by Kaz Bielicki, on the history of The Syn with key interview segments including Chris Squire and new interviews with Steve Nardelli and early Syn drummer and photographer Max Adelman

♦  LIVE ROSFEST is the fifth CD release on Umbrello Records by The Syn since their comeback following Original Syn in 2004, Syndestructible in 2005, Armistice Day in 2007 and Big Sky in 2009. With the success of Live Rosfest ringing in their ears, SYN fans are also currently awaiting the long awaited new SYN album, called “TRUSTWORKS”. Steve Nardelli tells the online music reviews web site mwe3.com: “Trustworks is a Rock concept album using the grand Italian operas as a basis for content and musical structure, something I've wanted to do for some time.  The harmonies and melodic musical qualities of Moon Safari and the producer Jonas Reingold have made it possible.

'Rise up the freedom fighters, speak out the silenced voices, rebuild the City of Hope with faith and trust and loyalty; at the end of the sacred road to Freedom is a church called Trustworks'.
