Construction Services Veteran with Over 40 Years Experience Joins Partner

June 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Malvern, PA – June 19, 2015 - Construction industry veteran Barry Cohen has joined Partner Engineering and Science Inc. (Partner), a national firm focused on environmental, engineering and energy consulting and construction risk management headquartered in Torrance, Calif., as Technical Director.

The US construction industry continues to gain strength, with the Dodge Data and Analytics 2015 Forecast predicting the total U.S. construction starts for 2015 to rise to $612 billion, a growth of nearly nine percent from the year before. Cohen will play a critical role in furthering the expansion of Partner’s construction risk management group in response to the growing demands for construction services due to an overall increase of construction spending nationwide.

Cohen will apply his national experience and expertise providing construction and facility management services to help clients around the country better manage risks throughout real estate transactions, ownership and development projects. Contributing over forty years of experience within the construction and engineering services industry, Cohen will be an exceptionally valuable addition to the Partner team.

Throughout his career, Cohen has served many industries including multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, education, residential, airport, and healthcare. Recently, he served as the President of BC Consulting Group, a real estate development and business services consulting firm, where he oversaw provisions of consulting services such as Owners’ Representation for real estate development and business operations. He provided leadership in planning, business operations, and project implementation while also maintaining strategic alliances with professional associates. Prior to that, Cohen managed the construction department for a prominent nationally recognized REIT in Colorado, AIMCO, the largest owner/ manager of apartments in the nation.
