Latin Pop Shop St. Pete Pride ART-ravaganza!

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - June 17, 2015 - PRLog -- A regular exhibitor at local indie markets; Latin Pop Shop is a mobile art boutique featuring the works of Latin American Saint Pete artist John Gascot. John’s work mixes Pop and Folk influences and combines bold color and design with tongue-in-cheek whimsy. His motto, “Art is for everyone!” is spoken loud and clear by the fact that Latin Pop Shop offers hand-made art, artful items and t-shirts at very accessible prices. Gascot’s work can be found in the collections of the likes of RuPaul and Tina Fey but originals can still be had for as little as $3 (in the form of art magnet “minis”). On Sunday, July 28^th, 11am-6pm he will bring his colorful flare to the St. Pete Pride Street Festival on Central Avenue.

As part of the festivities, Mr. Gascot will conduct an art giveaway and offer free linocut prints with every purchase (while supplies last). Latin Pop Shop’s interactive display will also feature a carnival-style Pride photo stand (painted by Gascot) that will be free for the public to enjoy.

   The Latin Pop Shop tent will be located between 22^nd and 23^rd streets on Central Avenue, St. Petersburg (across from Metro Wellness and LGBT Welcome center).
