GN Module Design of Waste Cuttings Management is Available

HOUSTON - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Last year, GN launched the skid mounted drilling waste cuttings system (http://www.gnsolidsamerica.com/drilling-waste-cuttings-management.html) with the main processing equipments installed on the removable telescopic frame. This system assembles all the involved equipment is a compact unit and would be transported without taking off any of the equipment. Since the publication, nearly 15 of this unit already ordered by the customer from both the domestic and international market. The feedbacks return approved the performance of GN’s drilling waste cuttings management system satisfied the clients.

Among the valuable feedbacks, some clients advise GN to make the waste cuttings system more compact as they don’t much space on site to put the skid. Or some of the clients don’t need all the equipment in the system, what they are looking for would be quick connecting solution for their existing equipments.

At the consideration of maximum to meet the clients’ demand, GN designed the module style of the waste cuttings management system. All main equipment could be used independently as well as connected as a whole package. The main module would be listed as below:

1. Drilling cuttings transfer unit- it is composed of a conical cuttings receiving hopper and a vacuum type transfer pump. The hopper can accept the drilling cuttings delivered by the screw conveyor. Driven by the electric motor, the hose type vacuum pump can transfer the high – viscosity and high solid content medium, like the waste cutting, to the drying equipment.

2. Main Drying Equipment – GN has both the Verti G Dryer (http://www.gnsolidsamerica.com/vertical-cuttings-dryer.html) and High G force drying shaker for both the oil base and water drilling mud. The Verti G dryer equipment could be installed on an independent telescopic frame for limited onsite space. It may need another separate catching tank to collect the effluence from the dryer. The drying shaker will contain a small catching tank beneath the screen deck for collecting the liquid.

3. Liquid Polishing Equipment – the effluence out from the Verti G dryer and High G force drying shaker (http://www.gnsolidsamerica.com/linear-motion-shale-shaker...) would be then pumped to high speed decanter centrifuge for ultra fine solids removing.

4. Sealed Hazardous Waste Catching Unit – For the transportation of the waste sludge, there is a fully sealed catching container can be a better collector. The container is completed sealed to avoid spilling during transportation. And the container cover is designed with an easy lock/unlock system for fast opening and closing. It is the ideal choice to meet the HSE regulations for hazardous waste movement.
