100 Marathons 100 Days Dub & Armagh Man Take On Impossible Challenge Charity Ireland Event

May 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped millions of people attempting and completing this challenge over the last thousand years, and a marathon is now one of the trendy desired accomplishments that show up on the bucket list.

For most,  its something to do once in your lifetime, and you will be sated by completion of the challenge.

However, not everyone is sated or satisfied by a single marathon.  Enter Larry Maguire and Steven McGeown, natives of Dublin and Armagh respectively, now accepted extreme endurance athletes, on a par few will reach.  Read on..

The humble marathon -

Except these two lads can't, because they have committed to running 100 marathons in consecutive days over the next 100 days, in Dublin and across the country.  A feat few could contemplate, never mind considering training for, or completing.

Showing a courage, determination and self-belief that not many will know, Steven and Larry will be getting up every morning for the next 97 days, and going for a 26 mile jog, all to raise the profile of the Laura Maguire Foundation, a noble childrens charity that raises money to help children, in honour of Laura Maguire, who died in childhood.
