New crowdfunding campaign plans to break through informational overload

NOTTINGHAM, U.K. - May 11, 2015 - PRLog -- ”In the past, it was often a lack of information which would prevent us from taking action. Now, it is often too much information which does the same. We are simply drowning in data, in today’s Information Age.”

That’s just one of the reasons a global team of 15 volunteers is channelling its passion for critical thinking and empowering solutions to create and expand the knowledge network, dubbed KN-OW.

After hosting numerous live events and building a network of subject matter experts, the KN-OW team has its sights set on the ultimate goal: creating a centralized resource hub, which will feature courses, webinars and concise, credible information on global issues. A crowdfunding campaign for KN-OW hopes to raise $12,500 by June 1st of this year.

“In order to address and respond to the challenges we face in the 21st century, we need to connect expert-level knowledge with spiritual insight, in order to offer practical solutions” says KN-OW project director Faisal Amjad. “Project KN-OW works with both religious scholars and subject matter experts to bring the public a holistic understanding of the world. We believe the answers to today’s issues can be found at the intersection of spirituality and science.”

Amjad says that the KN-OW team wants to empower and help people by cutting through information overload. KN-OW hopes to create a global hub that’s a central resource for any and all issues that fall into the most relevant areas of

human life: health, finance, politics and society.

“Information is everywhere,” says Amjad, “but clarity isn’t. Our goal is to turn information into understanding. We want to become the go-to source for clarity.”

KN-OW are a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing insight and holistic solutions to 21st Century challenges through bringing together a range of subject matter experts, scientists and scholars.
