Award-Winning Producer Joel Diamond Signs New Talent From India

May 9, 2015 - PRLog -- American producer Joel Diamond, twice nominated for a Grammy Award and producer of 36 Gold and Platinum recordings is gearing up to release the first Indian pop star in the U.S. market. Diamond, who also has 54 recordings on the Billboard Charts discovered eighteen year old Erick Blu in Los Angeles in 2014.

Erick Blu’s first American single LIGHT IT UP! was written and produced by Diamond for Silver Blue Productions. It was co-written by Diamond, multi-platinum song writer L. Russell Brown, who holds the Guinness World Record for most recorded song, and Japanese singer and song writer Hiroaki Serizawa, who has had more than a dozen top ten records in his country.

"Music can light up the world and bring hope and joy to a sometimes very dark world. My new single, Light it Up! does just that.  I want to be a positive role model for people young and old and be able to accomplish my goals and achieve success without disrespecting anyone. Most importantly, I want to help people and animals who are in the need of food and shelter by participating in charities around the world” said Erick Blu after a recording session with Diamond.

Erick Blu’s discography includes his first album Falling in Love with tracks You Are My Life, Heartbeat, Take Me, Every Moment, Hallucination, Blue Moon, The Only Thing, Color, and Heartbeat Remix by Paolo Aliberti and his single With Me featuring Indian rapper BK (Borkung Hrangkhawl) produced by DJ Ina.  All tracks on Falling in Love were written and composed by Erick Blu.  Upcoming release Light It Up! features LA rapper Andre Bello-Jones.

Erick Blu was born in New Delhi, India. The older of two siblings, he began playing music at the age of twelve when his father gave him a guitar for his birthday.  The first song he learned on his newly acquired and most prized possession was "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias.

Erick Blu’s began his music career by playing big stadiums in shows such as the Indian National Musical Awards, College Musical Fest, Sunburn Goa, Radio 1 Awards, 94.01 Radio Awards and the TV show MTV Roots Live.
