Mr. Dozie brings over twenty years of soccer passion to the L.A. Wolves as the General Manager of the club. Mr. Dozie was born in London, England to Nigerian parents and has had several coaching and managerial stints in greater London and Los Angeles. Mr. Dozie's focus for the club include recruiting and building a streamline reserve system that feeds the first team quality developed players that play the L.A. Wolves philosophy of possession football. In addition he is also overseeing the newly found L.A. Wolves II which will be participating in the UPSL Western conference this Spring / Summer season. On top of player development for the club, Mr. Dozie is responsible for sponsorship / partnership development for the club with both local and national companies.

Yan Skwara, L.A Wolves FC President. “Ony has been a great addition to the L.A. Wolves staff with his depth of football knowledge, experience and commitment to developing great American soccer players here in the South Bay and in neighboring areas. Also his global football knowledge of the game is something that we were seeking for the GM Position being Futbol is an International sport . Ony has come on board and quickly shown he can generate deal flow for the club and has already assisted in sponsorship agreements with major companies such as, T-Mobile, Wells Fargo, and South Bay Toyota just to name a few. We are excited to have Ony on board and I personally  look forward to working together for many years to come and growing the club together to take the L.A. Wolves to the next level."

Ony Dozie, General Manager stated, “It’s been quite an honor to be employed by such a club with rich history right in the heart of the South Bay. The L.A. Wolves were L.A.'s first professional soccer team way going back to 1967 and winning the inaugural U.S. Championship. Yan Skwara has done a great job in bringing the club back into exsistence and rebranding it and that's something I want to be a part of: history and quality football. Soccer in Torrance has always received national recognition and I felt it was truly the right time to rise to the occasion. The birthplace of American Youth Soccer and the history that the L.A. Wolves has was always an attraction to me. A team that has maintained a phenomenal record in the Western Conference and its unique continental footballing philosophy is something which I felt could only develop me as a student of the Beautiful Game. The L.A. Wolves are a true representative and flagship team of the United Premier Soccer League.”

The L.A. Wolves next game will be the UPSL 2015/16 Season opener this coming weekend at Toyota Sports. Game day and time TBA.
