Casting Call For Mother's Day Documentary

HOUSTON - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- This Woman Knows is seeking women and men of all ethnicities for an upcoming documentary dealing with the anguish of Mother’s Day. If you are in the Houston area and Mother’s Day is painful due to estrangement, a child loss due to miscarriage or SIDS, child loss due to violence or illness, infertility, a mother’s passing, neglect or abuse or you're caring for a sick or aging mother, we want to hear your story.

This documentary will tell the stories of families for whom Mother's Day is difficult to celebrate. Lisa, the project creator, experienced two very painful Mother's Days when she and her daughter were estranged. "Mother's Day was awful," says Alexander. "I put on a brave face for our son but inwardly I wished the day would quickly pass."

The goal of this documentary is to shed light on a subject matter that is all too often hidden and not often discussed due to humiliation and the belief, ‘I’m the only one going through this.'
