Columbia MD Dental Office Volunteers and Runs in Annual Baltimore 6K

COLUMBIA, Md. - May 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Dr. Daniel C. Stewart and staff members at Smile Savers Dentistry of Columbia, MD once again particpated in the annual Believe in Tomorrow Port to Fort 6K this past April. Named one of CBS Baltimore's Best Running Events, Believe In Tomorrow's 19th Annual Port to Fort 6k raises money to benefit the Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation. This was the third time that staff members of the Columbia dental office ran in the annual race, other staff members volunteered for the event.

Dr. Stewart says, "This is our third Port to Fort race and it has really become a great game in my office. The staff raises some money for an awesome organization that helps courageous families in Baltimore." Last year, Smile Savers Dentistry raised a total of $4400, earning the team the "Highest Corporate Fundraising Team" award.

Smile Savers Dentistry is a big supporter of the Believe in Tomorrow Foundation, a Baltimore-based nonprofit, which offers respite housing for families with sick children and emergency housing for families who live far away and have sick children at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Office Manager Summer Andrade said, "It was great to run again this year and to see another great turnout - so many people take time out to support a great cause here in Baltimore."

Smile Savers Dentistry also supports the Carol Jean Cancer Foundation, Legion MC & 4 Horsemen Charities and the Wounded Warriors, Trucking for Troops and other local Maryland charities.
