MustDo.Com’s Google Traffic Increases 414% Year-Over-Year from March 2014 to March 2015

MustDo.Com’s SEO Firm Omen Interactive Implements Online Strategies that Increased MustDo’s Google Traffic 338 to 415% in Year-Over-Year Traffic from 2014 to 2015 for the first quarter.
 
SARASOTA, Fla. - April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Florida had a record-breaking 97.3 million tourists in 2014 and MustDo.com, which is the premier online visitor’s guide for Sarasota, Fort Myers & Naples, played its role in achieving that record.

Google traffic increased 338% from January 2014 to January 2015; 355% for February 2015; and an astonishing 414% growth rate for March 2015.

Since its launch in 2011, MustDo.com had seen tremendous online growth with more than 100 Page 1 Google rankings.

But that changed as MustDo.com started preparing for the 2013-14 tourist season.

Dave Ettinger, publisher and owner of MustDo.com, said he expected online traffic to double but as his team ramped up for the season. “I noticed that our traffic was flat year over year and that many of our page one rankings were gone.”

Ettinger hired three different SEO companies who were unable to fix his problems before he found Mical Johnson, founder of Omen Interactive, a Sarasota-based SEO and digital marketing firm. “Mical identified and helped us fix a programming issue that was showing Google archived or dead pages.  As a result, Google had us flagged and was holding our traffic down.  Once the programming issue was resolved our traffic rebounded immediately and hit record highs by March of 2015.”

“Our online revenue is healthy but it would have doubled by now had we found and hired Mical in the first place,” said Ettinger, who explained that MustDo.com’s  mission is to deliver destination specific content to visitors planning a trip to the area or who are here on vacation.

Ettinger said he would definitely recommend Johnson and Omen Interactive to other business owners.

“He is very knowledgeable, delivers projects on time and with accuracy, offering a strong consultative approach to help us move toward our SEO and online traffic goals.  We’ve set a high bar and are looking to double traffic again by March 2016 with Mical’s help,” he added.

Johnson said he was pleased with the increased traffic that has occurred at MustDo.com. “But, like Dave, I want to see even greater growth for the 2015-16 tourist season.

Johnson, who has 15 years of online internet marketing experience, said Omen Interactive has other online publications as clients and sees online publications as one of Omen’s specialties.

Ettinger appreciates Mical’s approach.

After meeting with Mical the first time, Ettinger said he was “confident that Mical had discovered what was holding our traffic down. I knew this as he advised me in our initial meeting that our site was under a Google penalty.

“He also told me exactly what we would be doing to fix it. I had invested over $15,000 with three other SEO companies and they never looked deep enough to discover what Mical found during his preliminary site analysis,” Ettinger said.
