The most popular post on the blog to date is a weekly piece highlighting three things to do in and around Tunbridge Wells. Posts such as Clare’s experience in taking her youngest son to his first Puddle Ducks swimming class have also contributed to a swiftly growing following on Facebook (www.facebook.com/ Clare commented ‘I am delighted to be a Kent Digital Awards finalist – Tunbridge Wells has so much to offer families and I really enjoy sharing my experiences with other parents and letting people know about upcoming events that I think they might be interested in. She continues ‘Support for My Tunbridge Wells has been phenomenal so far. I am looking forward to seeing It grow over the coming months - being named as a finalist has made the work involved in keeping the blog going seem even more fulfilling.’ Iain Johnson, from Premio64, the organisation behind the KDA said: ‘We have been staggered by the response across the county and congratulations to all of the organisations who have made the finalists’ list.’ Kent Digital Awards, which is backed by a range of Local World newspapers across the country and Ashford-based conglomerate The Hobbs Parker Group, is the first and only scheme within Kent to recognise the online achievements of businesses, schools and charities from across the county.
