Pompano Beach Airpark Race Supports Angel Flight Southeast

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Runners who want to feel like they are “flying,” will want to participate in a unique race that will provide the perspective of a pilot navigating around an airport.

The Run for the Angels 5K to benefit Angel Flight Southeast (http://www.AngelFlightSE.org), takes place on Saturday, May 2, at 7 a.m., at the Pompano Beach Airpark, 1001 NE 10^th Avenue.  The 3.1 mile race, presented by Sheltair, traverses the taxiways, runways and around the hangars of the airport. The race begins and ends at Sheltair.

Angel Flight Southeast provides free transportation to patients of all ages who need access to life-saving medical appointments they otherwise would not be able to travel to because of distance and cost.

Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate in the event. Event registration is limited to 300 participants. Registration is available online at http://www.AngelFlightSE.org/events. Children under 18 are invited to participate with an accompanying adult.
