Church Marks World Health Day 2015 by highlighting drug abuse & promoting drug prevention education

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Hosted by the Church of Scientology in their new downtown headquarters, the Foundation For A drug Free World sponsored an event for World Health Day that highlighted the Truth About Drugs Program.

Sac Sheriff’s provided information on the current scene in Drug abuse in 2015 and other like minded organizations presented their thoughts and words emphasizing education of youth. These included; Dr Florin Ciuriuc – Executive Director  Slavic Community Center of Sacramento and  Slavic-American Community Leader. Staci Anderson – Executive Director and CEO of People Reaching Out and Al Wilson – Executive Director and Co-Founder of the  International Faith Based Coalition.

In all, the message was clear that community organizations teaching drug prevention is key to handling the demand for drugs and creating a decline in drug abuse.

The night was capped off by a local Slavic American musical presentation that sent an uplifting spiritual message to all who attended.
