PALM COAST, Fla. - March 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Famous artworks, infamous art thieves, and a determined FBI Crime Investigator's nail-biting undercover adventures fill the pages of  Robert K. Wittman's book, "Priceless." Subtitled "How I Went Undercover to Rescue the World's Stolen Treasures," the NY Times best-seller author will bring these exploits to life in entertaining detail April 7 at Palm Coast's Flagler Auditorium.

Invited to Palm Coast by the Flagler County Art League, Wittman has enthralled audiences throughout the country with stories of his life of intrigue and suspense spanning twenty years as founder and head of the FBI's Art Crimes Team. A real-life Indiana Jones, Thomas Crowne and James Bond rolled into one, he has consorted with international thugs, smugglers, Hollywood mobsters and forgers, and has masqueraded as a crooked art dealer with ties to the Mafia and Columbian drug cartels.

Wittman has recovered hundreds of milions-of-dollars of artwork, antiquities and historical artifacts of incredible worth stolen from collectors and museums around the world, including paintings and sculpture by Renoir, Rembrandt, Goya and Rodin, just to name a few. He has found Geronimo's headdress, an original copy of the Bill of Rights, and the golden armor of an ancient Peruvian warrior king. The Wall Street Journal has called him "a living legend," and the London Times says he's "the most famous art detective in the world."

Please join us for an evening of remarkable tales from Wittman, considered to be the world's leading art crime expert, Tuesday, April 7, beginning at 7pm at the Flagler Auditorium, located at 5500 Route 100 in Palm Coast. The Flagler County Art League is excited to bring this evening to the community. Be part of this event -- a first of its kind event in this area.

General admissions tickets are $20.00; discounted for groups of 10 or more to $17.00 per ticket. Copies of the book will be available for sale following the presentation. Tickets for a special VIP reception, beginning a 5:30pm, are $60.00 and will include a meet and greet with the author along with a signed copy of his book, "Priceless."  Order your tickets by calling the Flagler Auditorium box office at 386-437-7547 or 866-352-4537, or order online at www.flaglerauditorium.org.
