BATON ROUGE, La. - March 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Louisiana based ETCH Studio, LLP, a laser cut design studio founded by architectural design students Mallory Estopinal and Zoe Ganch recently announced the launch of their Spring 2015 Collection. With the release of the new ‘Alice Collection,’ inspired a whimsical, curious wonderland, ETCH presents a fresh collection of designs featuring bold geometry and daring textures. The Alice collection targets the modern day woman seeking her next adventure. The collection will be available online through their website as well as at select retailers.

“We are thrilled to be launching our new collection with a focus on bolder, brighter designs. We’ve created a line for ladies who dare to break the mold through edgy, wearable art,” said Ganch, co-creator of ETCH. Estopinal, the other half of the ETCH duo, added how “excited [they are] to have refined the design and production process for the new collection.”

ETCH started when the young design pair met during their first year of architecture school at Louisiana State University during a group project. Both Ganch and Estopinal moved to Washington, D.C. to spend a year studying at the Washington Alexandria Architecture Center, where ETCH took its first steps. “We took advantage of the precise technology of the laser machine and paired it with our experience in architectural design to create something unique and innovative.” What began as an artistic hobby soon began to capture the attention of crowds worldwide on Instagram. The ETCH duo was accepted to pitch their business plan to a “Shark Tank”-like competition through the Louisiana Technology and Business Center for a chance to win starting capital to put towards their own personal laser cutter, and walked out with the second-place winnings as well as the audience choice award.

“With a successful first year behind us, we’re very happy with the brand, designs, and professional connections we’ve created through this business venture, and we’re excited to see our new Alice collection come to life,” says Estopinal. In just one year of operation, ETCH has gained over 10,000 Instagram followers and sold over 900 designs, and currently sells in retail stores from Louisiana to California.

“We’re constantly fueled with new ideas and new ways to use the laser technology. New materials, techniques, and fashion trends inspire us to keep creating,” adds Ganch. The duo also plans on expanding into more wholesale and retail opportunities around the United States.
