2014 Best Fund Manager Honored at GEMA, just like the Oscars for Hedge Funds

The 3rd Annual Global Emerging Manager Awards ceremony is scheduled to start off with a cocktail networking reception at 6pm. The event will feature special guests and a panel conversation around "Perspectives on Decision to Set-up a Fund" with top emerging fund managers. This year's Global Emerging Manager Awards event will recognize nine varying fund categories around the globe. The ceremony will also honor and recognize 2014's Best Emerging Manager.

The judging criteria includes quality of infrastructure, investor friendliness, fund performance over 12-month rolling period as well as omega and sortino ratios. Each award will go to the manager with the largest impact in the specific fund category, one who is held in high esteem by both his competitors and peers, as well as one who has won the trust of investors. The nine award categories set for recognition in this year's event are Credit, Global, Asia, Europe, Event Driven, Multi-Strategy/Arbitrage, Emerging Markets, Global Macro/CTA, and Long/Short Equity. 2014's Best Emerging Manager will be picked from entrants in all nine categories and will be the person with proven impact in the hedge fund industry.
