Sintecs releases the most advanced Freescale i.MX6™ series of SMARC modules

HENGELO, Netherlands - Feb. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Sintecs will release on the Embedded World Exhibition 2015 (from 24^th – 26^th of February 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany) the industry’s most advanced Freescale™ i.MX6 System On Module.

This Ultra-Low power SOM is based on the Freescale i.MX6 application processor with single, dual or quad cores with ARM® Cortex™-A9 architecture. The module is built on the SMARC form-factor (Optimized pin-out definition for ARM technology).

By combining the power-efficient processing capabilities of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture with bleeding edge 3D and 2D graphics, as well as high-definition video, the i.MX6 series provides a new level of multimedia performance to enable an unbounded next-generation user experience.

The SES-MX6S/D/Q features the Freescale i.MX6™ Single, Dual or Quad core processors. The i.MX6 Quad family encompasses a quad-core platform running up to 1.2 GHz with 1 MB of L2 cache and 64-bit DDR3 support. Integrated FlexCAN, MLB busses, PCI Express® and SATA-2 provide excellent connectivity, while integration of LVDS, MIPI display port, MIPI camera port and HDMI v1.4 makes it an ideal platform for leading-edge consumer, automotive and industrial multimedia applications.The module also has an optional PCIe switch on-board when there is a need for more PCIe lanes on the carrier board.

The SES-MX6 modules provide an excellent base for quick, reliable, secure and efficient applications and supports interfaces such as:
