KidSmiles Pediatric Dentistry Hosts Art Contest To Support National Children's Dental Health Month

WHITTIER, Calif. - Feb. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- KidSmiles Pediatric Dentistry of Whittier is having an art contest in recognition of National Children’s Dental Health Month.  In the contest, entitled “What Makes Me Smile”, participants are encouraged to draw a picture of something that makes them smile, and submit it either to their office or online with the hashtags #NCDHM and #KidSmilesWhatMakesMeSmile to participate.  20 winners will be drawn at random to receive a $10 Target gift card. The contest runs through February.

National Children’s Dental Health Month (NCDHM) is an annual oral health campaign organized by the American Dental Association (ADA) every February to increase awareness of the importance of children’s oral health. The month-long campaign brings together thousands of dedicated dental health professionals, health care providers and others to promote the benefits of brushing, flossing, rinsing, and eating healthy snacks.

NCDHM messages reach millions of people in communities across the country and at numerous armed service bases.
