NEW YORK - Jan. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Rabbi Barry Kallenberg is a man of many roles.  From being a Rabbi to being an advocate for employees, Rabbi  Barry Kallenberg enjoys being able to help the community as much as possible.  In addition to having received rabbinic training, he has also received a degree from New York University.  At NYU, he studied Judaic Studies, as well as Business and Finance.  In 1978, he became a rabbi.  He feels that it is very important to continue learning as much as you can throughout life.  Often, many individuals limit themselves to their main career path.  Rabbi Barry Kallenberg feels that it is important to learn as much as you can on various topics.

Rabbi Barry Kallenberg is one of the few rabbis who is able to officiate ceremonies in three states.  These states include New Jersey, Florida, and New York.  Whether he is helping at a wedding, Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, or a funeral, he enjoys being able to take part in important family gatherings.  As a member of the clergy, he also enjoys making various pastoral visits to different nursing homes and hospitals.

He also enjoys volunteering his time to help employees.  Previously, he has helped several funeral directors through representing them in front of different boards for no charge at all.  When employees are not treated well by their employers, or need accompaniment with going to the National Labor Relations Board, he is ready to help them.  Not only did Rabbi Barry Kallenberg receive the calling to become a clergy member, he also received the calling to help others in different fields.  Barry Kallenberg is excited to help others who are in need of advice and assistance.  When going to court, his best advice is to always plan the adversary’s case.

Barry Kallenberg received his wisdom and values from his parents.  His father was a Rabbi and his mother was a homemaker.  His father taught him the joy of helping others as much as possible, and his mother taught him important values and life lessons to live by.  One of the best advice that she has given Barry is to make sure to not spend more than one can afford.

Rabbi Barry Kallenberg is also a volunteer and fundraiser for the National Council of Young Israel, in addition to the Federated Synagogues.  Through being a strong fundraiser for both foundations, Rabbi Barry Kallenberg also helped organize special events and named honorees.  In addition, he also assisted in fundraising to support Viewpoint Magazine.  He contributed through selling advertisements for the magazine. Most of his time is focused on being a Rabbi.

Many individuals would describe him as a kind person with a big heart, as he loves being able to help others.  Because of his insatiable curiosity for learning, his friends have called him a walking encyclopedia.  In addition to his career as a Rabbi, Barry W. Kallenberg also assists in managing two parking structures in New York City.  These parking areas are located close to Yankee Stadium.  Since the 1950’s Barry Kallenberg and his family have been providing parking at affordable, competitive prices.
