Follow on Google News | Man Who Alleged an Unlawful Arrest in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn Accepts City's $37,500 SettlementAllegations Within Maurice's Complaint In July of 2014, Maurice had just left his apartment and was in the vicinity of Throop Avenue and Hart Street. He was approached by two plain-clothes NYPD officers, grabbed and handcuffed. He was transported to the 79th precinct and then taken to Brooklyn Central Booking for arraignment.
