Unbound Visual Arts’ 3rd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration Hosted by the Social Restaurant & Bar

BOSTON - Jan. 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Unbound Visual Arts is presenting its Third Annual Mardi Gras Day Celebration with live music, food, dancing, raffle prizes, masks, beads and lots of celebrating.  It’s on Tuesday February 17, 2015 (7:00 - 11:00 pm) hosted by the  Social Restaurant & Bar in Newton Corner.  Live music by the Confederacy of Dumpsters. Free validated garage parking. Just $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door.  21+ A Mardi Gras event for Boston's creative community.  The Social Restaurant & Bar is located in the Crown Plaza Hotel building at 320 Washington Street at Exit 17 over the Massachusetts Turnpike in Newton.

Unbound Visual Arts, a 501(c)(3) based in Allston and Brighton, is one of the newest non-profit arts organizations in the Greater Boston area. In just two years, it has established itself as one of the leaders in creating and exhibiting contemporary art.  The accomplishments are many, including organizing 48 curated themed-based exhibitions in nine venues in 5 surrounding communities, featuring over 100 artists. All of these exhibitions has allowed Unbound Visual Arts to promote artistic growth that inspires passion, creativity, education and expression. By elevating the importance and significance of local contemporary art Unbound is contributing to the local economy.  Further, Unbound provides unique opportunities for numerous artists, including those who participate in the Common Art Program, a program that provides safe art-making space for individuals who are homeless or low-income.

The  Social Restaurant & Bar is a new casual upscale American restaurant in Newton Corner. It has a warm inviting atmosphere and an attentive friendly staff. It offers daily lunch and dinner menus with free validated parking day and night. It also has live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
