LocalConstruct Announces New Vice President of Construction

BOISE, Idaho - Jan. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- BOISE, ID (January 20, 2015) – LocalConstruct (www.localconstruct.com) - a Los Angeles-based real estate developer focused on urban infill housing – is pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Osterburg as its Vice President of Construction. In his 20+ year career in construction and operations, Jason has been involved in over $600mm of development across the Western United States.

“Jason is recognized as a leader in construction management,” says LocalConstruct Co-Founder Mike Brown. “His experience and reputation in this field will be key to our expansion in Boise and the North West.”

Jason will head the LocalConstruct office in Boise and will oversee all construction activities related to development and capital improvement projects across the firm’s portfolio. His responsibilities include project permitting, budgeting, bid processes, and construction management.

Most recently, as a Senior Project Manager for Andersen Construction, Jason managed the redevelopment of the iconic Owyhee - a historic, adaptive re-use, project by LocalConstruct in Boise, Idaho. Prior to joining LocalConstruct, Jason served as an Idaho Public Works Contractor, Operations Manager for SD Deacon of Washington in the Seattle market, and Senior Project Manager for Sletten Construction of Montana.

Jason holds a Project Management certificate from Boise State University and a Heavy Equipment Technician certificate from the Bryman School of Technology. He resides in Eagle, ID with his wife Jennifer and son Liam. They enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and spend most of their free time exploring, backpacking, and fly fishing the remote areas around the Mountain West.
