         Technology Merger Announced

Rochester Hills, MI - Mike St. John, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Expetec Technology Services of Rochester Hills recently announced effective January 1, 2015 his company will merge with BCL Computing, an independent IT company located in the Detroit area.  The two companies will become Expetec of Michigan allowing for a greatly expanded foot print for the new organization.

The new company will remain a franchisee of Expetec Corporation, an IT franchisor offering area businesses a complete array of technology services including outsourced managed IT services, network development and administration, telecommunications, IT hardware and system security solutions.  The Rochester Hills location has been an award winning Expetec franchisee since 2005.

“Both Bury who has owned BCL Computing since 1996 and members of our Expetec staff are very please to come together as a new team which will allow all of us to greatly expand our IT offering to the areas small to medium sized businesses”, stated St. John as he explained the reason for the merger.

Bury and St. John found each other as a result of a telephone call placed to Bury by St. John when he was at XO Communications looking for partners in 2004 .   The owners quickly realized that joining forces made the most sense for both organizations.

“While the technical side of our operation was very strong, we realized that the Expetec name, marketing and sales programs which Expetec of Rochester Hills was doing so well it would add to our customer’s satisfaction and allow us to bring more to the table” said Bury.

Expetec of Rochester Hills franchisees Mike Fitzgerald, CEO and Vicki Shepard, VP Operations who have been Expetec franchisees for 10 years chimed in expressing satisfaction with the expanded direction the company is taking.

The new company expects to add several new employees in the first quarter of the year.
