LOS ANGELES - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Career Systems International (CSI) publishes today two new case studies demonstrating how two multi-national companies deployed strategic, enterprise-solutions to increase overall employee engagement scores and the frequency and quality of career conversations. The case studies highlight Covidien (career development) and Ingersoll Rand (employee engagement) and detail each organization’s unique business challenges, program deployment specifics and measures of success.

“These are great examples of partnerships with clients and results that can be achieved when the culture of the organization is factored into the strategy and solution,” says Beverly Crowell, Executive Vice President at Career Systems International. She continues, “CSI partners with clients to come up with the best possible solution for their needs.”

Covidien partnered with CSI to deliver its award-winning CareerPower® Classic workshops to both employee and manager audiences. Using CSI’s five-step career framework, Covidien employees learned to maximize their productivity by preparing for changing roles and future competencies. In addition, Covidien expedited success of its goal to foster open, productive conversations by enabling managers and employees to identify and pursue development in sync with the organization’s strategic needs through these workshops.

Ingersoll Rand developed a comprehensive Employee Engagement strategy designed to focus on enterprise and business-led activities with a constant focus on two-way communication and continuous improvement. A custom solution based on CSI’s Love ‘Em or Lose ‘Em® was deployed to a global audience. The course, designed to equip managers with practical strategies they can use to retain, engage, and encourage the talents of their people; also addressed leader/manager behaviors such as coaching and communication that are critical drivers of engagement at Ingersoll Rand.

Some of the highlights include:

*In less than one year, the number of employees initiating conversations with their manager regarding their career development increased 16 points at Covidien Vascular Therapies.

*Ingersoll Rand saw their overall Employee Engagement Index increase by eight points in 2013 and another 4% in 2014 putting them in the top quartile for engagement.
