Dirty Larry Golf Delivers Putting Product

RALEIGH, N.C. - Dec. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The Dirty Larry Golf name is certainly enough to raise some brows. And the bold new lifestyle brand is turning heads again this week with the announcement of its long-awaited official company launch. This marks the first direct order availability of its centerpiece product, the Navigator Training Aid.

The Navigator is a putting device that trains the user to recognize where the club face is aimed. Co-founder and PGA member Dave Nastalski explained the extent of planning required before the product launch, which included nine phases of full scale prototyping. "We didn't want to cut any corners or build some cheap piece of plastic. It was important to us that we produce a high quality instrument and that every feature of the Navigator serve a specific purpose for the golfer." Still, he says the company held simplicity in its crosshairs. "We wanted something simple and easy to use that would deliver immediate feedback."

Dirty Larry Golf soft launched this past January at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla., where the company introduced the Navigator concept to industry professionals and instructors. After realizing a high initial demand, the startup team turned to the crowdfunding domain, where they successfully completed a 30-day campaign to raise over $34,000. These funds were used in the company transition from prototype to large-scale manufacturing of the Navigator.

Dirty Larry Golf also introduced a merchandise line, pursuing its interests in creating a lifestyle brand. Co-founder Elyssa Dornic expanded, "We're aiming to shift the image of the stereotypical golfer into something more energetic and approachable for the everyday consumer. For a lot of players, passion stems from being out on the course and having fun with friends." Dirty Larry Golf gear maintains a patriotic theme as a nod to American manufacturing, a cornerstone of the brand. "We have a duty to support American jobs and goods. That's why we refused to take our product development elsewhere," said "Dirty" Larry Feistel, company Founder.

And what's with the Dirty Larry name? It's a tip of the hat to the 70-year-old founder's skill level on the course. "His ability to defeat his much younger, unsuspecting opponents earned him the title. The Navigator encompasses everything he knew about putting. It was only fitting that the company be named in his honor," Nastalski said.

The Navigator is available for purchase online at www.dirtylarrygolf.com.
