Pet company helps keep Queens roadways clean

BAYSIDE, N.Y. - Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Local pet sitting company, In Home Pet Services, Inc., is helping the Queens environment by providing litter removal for a mile on the southbound section of the Clearview Expressway.

“Being green is an important part of our company in general.  For our clients dogs we use biodegradable earth-friendly poop pick up bags, every spring we collect thousands of dollars worth up-cycled pet products that we donate back to area animal shelters, so providing litter removal along our highways was a perfect fit for us.  We strive to keep Queens beautiful and clean within our own company, so why not help out the environment in a different way?” said, Robyn Elman President of In Home Pet Services, Inc.

Elman plans on sponsoring the litter removal for at least a year in Queens.  Some of her franchise locations throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk are also planning to sponsor litter removal in their respective neighborhoods.
