Types of anesthesia used in Liposuction

Local, regional, general, conscious sedation are the basic types of anesthesia. Liposuction s generally performed using either general or local anesthesia. The choice depends on the surgeons preference and on how large area to be treated. Local anesthesia numbs a small area and mostly used during smaller plastic surgical procedures.
