Elliott Broidy Committed to Improving the Country

Adding esteemed accolades to his already impressive list, Elliott Broidy is committed to improving the country by working on the US Homeland Security Advisory Council, the New Technology Task Force and Future of Terrorism Task Force.

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Former United States Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff has appointed Broidy to serve on the US Homeland Security Advisory Council, the New Technology Task Force and Future of Terrorism Task Force.

Former President George W. Bush has also appointed him to serve The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Art’s Board of Trustees. In addition to these esteemed partnerships, Broidy also served as Los Angeles City Fire and Police Pension Fund’s Commissioner and Los Angeles Police Foundation’s Board of Directors’ member.

Broidy is also a member of YPO or the Young Presidents Organization and is also serving on USC Marshall School’s Center for Investment Studies’ Board of Advisors.

Professional Career

Broidy founded Broidy Capital Management in 1991, where he currently serves as Chairman and CEO. Broidy is Markstone Capital Partners’ Chairman, which is an 800 million dollars private equity fund based in Israel. Broidy is also Tomcar, Ltd’s Chairman, a manufacturer of off-road vehicles. His role as a chairman is also extended to a logistics and event management company, the ESI Holdings, Inc., plus he sits on the Board of Directors of the Foley Timber and Land Company.

Philanthropy

Some of the most important of Broidy’s noted accomplishments is his dedication and contribution to philanthropy.  Broidy helps Hounds for Heroes with local efforts in providing service animals with wounded veterans across Southern California.   Broidy continually donates to the Wounded Warrior Project, again helping military veterans throughout the United States.  Broidy recently attended "Stars under the Stars," the Los Angeles star studded event that benefited the American Ballet Theater and raised $250,000. Broidy has helped support for homeless youth, including serving as executive producer for the movie ‘Sugar,' an independent film. ‘Sugar’ tells the story of a young woman living on the streets of Venice Beach, California.
