MENDOCINO, Calif. - Dec. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- The Didjeridoo Dreamtime Inn & Meditation Center of Mendocino, CA has invited author Rose Gordy to give a special book reading on Saturday December 6, 2014 from 7-9pm. Rose Gordy will read from her new novel "Adrift in Waking Dreams," which takes place in Mendocino, as well as answer questions. Wine and Cheese will be served. Author, dream counselor and longtime teacher, Rose Gordy spent thirteen years of her early life as a nun effectively cut off from the world. After leaving the convent at 30, she made a new life for herself including getting married and having children. Through her experiences as a nun in the 1960's and later as a wife and mother, she has dedicated her life to weaving tales of perseverance and triumph.

"Adrift in Waking Dreams" involves a woman who, although attractive, was an insecure victim of angst. Still this woman, Laura, determined it was imperative to delve into her dreams. She had to find out why her night visions were so compelling, bothersome and somehow invigorating.



But then Ryan, a man of the road, was waylaid in town after an auspicious earthquake and her life got switched on. Their animal magnetism was palpable yet painfully unspoken. With her sex life ultimately activated, Laura's dreams only intensified, including her newly discovered "waking dreams."
