Carolyn Caccese Named Partner at Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro

WOODBURY, N.Y. - Dec. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Carolyn Caccese has been named a partner at the law firm Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro (SSKB). With offices in Woodbury, Manhattan and Brooklyn, SSKB concentrates its practice in personal injury and medical malpractice law.

Ms. Caccese’s extensive medical malpractice work at the firm includes a particular expertise in nursing home incidents. She also plays an active role in depositions, court conferences and trial preparation for firm cases. In October 2014 she was named to the prestigious New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, published in The New York Times Sunday Magazine. She currently serves on the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York City Bar and is the chair of the subcommittee on Outreach. She is a member of and Director of the 1st Judicial District for the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, and this year served on that organization’s judicial screening committee for the NY State Court of Appeals candidates.

She also has active membership roles in the New York State Bar Association and New York County Lawyers Association, where she is a member of the Young Lawyers Section.  She co-authored “Failure to Act Quickly Harms False Arrest Claims” for The New York Law Journal in 2010.

Ms. Caccese joined Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro in 2004 after serving as an intern at the firm.  She earned her B.A. from Loyola College in Maryland and is a Dean's list graduate of St. John's Law School, where she served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the St. John's Journal of Legal Commentary. She authored The Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act: Constitutional Implications for the Future, which was published in the fall of 2004.  Carolyn is admitted to the Bar in New York, as well as the Southern and Eastern District federal courts in New York.
