Follow on Google News | College of Business Administration Assistant Professor to Compete in 2015 International WorkshopBy: Kent State University “I believe that my participation in this event, as well as obtaining a scholarship from the Marketing Science Institute, represent a great opportunity to increase exposure for Kent State and the College of Business Administration’ The ESCP Workshop is a prestigious, annual event where marketing scholars starting their career as tenure-track professors are given the opportunity to meet and work witheditors of the top marketing journals – Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, and the InternationalJournal of Research in Marketing. The workshop takes place in Paris, France, and is hosted by ESCP Europe. Entrance to the ESCP Workshop is competitive and limited to 25 scholars each year. This year’s international scholars represent universities in France, UK, the Netherlands, USA and other regions based on their academic achievement. “Dr. Zamudio’s acceptance to the ESCP Workshop is one of many of his accomplishments since joining the College of Business Administration. We congratulate César and look forward to his participation in such a prestigious global event,” said College of Business Administration Dean Deborah F. Spake said. To participate in the event the fee is 1,000 EUR. However, the Marketing Science Institute offers a limited number of scholarships to cover the cost of workshop participation.
