GREENWICH, Conn. - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- GREENWICH, CT, December 3rd, 2014:  We love nothing more than when everyone can eat at one table, savor their meal, and ask for the recipe.  But with more and more people following special diets, how can you plan a menu that accommodates all the dietary requirements of your guests? By using FoodForMyFriends.com, of course!  They integrate the best aspects of general recipe and allergy/ intolerance/ restriction sites to simplify entertaining by providing recipes, menu planning ideas, and tips through social interaction.  While there are currently general sites that can address each of these specific issues on its own, FoodForMyFriends.com is the only site that streamlines menu planning by leveraging other people’s food experiences and successes.

It is an overwhelming challenge to plan a menu with items in each course that meet every guest’s changing dietary needs.  That’s why FoodForMyFriends.com is excited to announce the 2014 Food For My Friends Holiday Challenge.  This two-part event is ideal for anyone who wants to ensure that the food served can be enjoyed by all.

It’s that time of year where everyone is looking for a recipe, and FoodForMyFriends.com is the place to find them.  From December 1, 2014 to January 1,2015 the community member who adds the most recipes will win a $50 Amex gift card! Recipes can be tagged to honor an allergy, intolerance, medical requirement, food lifestyle choice, or they can be just something you like to make.  Email friends@foodformyfriends.com to enter.

Use FoodForMyFriends.com to plan your event!! Invite your guests through the Events portion of FoodForMyFriends.com.  The site will search for recipes that meet the requirements for the group.  Or, you can use the simple or advanced search feature to search for egg-free, peanut-free, paleo or diabetic criteria as well as many more options. After seeking out recipes, you can use them to create a unique menu for an event, save them to your recipe box for later use.  Qualify to be an upcoming FoodForMyFriends.com Community Feature by emailing pictures, a menu, and event details to friends@foodformyfriends.com.

The site is free to join.  People are encouraged to sign up, invite their friends, and continue to come back to educate themselves and others on reoccurring food trends and personal experiences, such as being vegan at a holiday party. Of course, the website is designed to be smartphone and tablet ready, eliminating the need for additional apps or software.

In addition to signing up at FoodForMyFriends.com, users can also visit Food For My Friends on Facebook, Twitter (@food4myfriends) and Pinterest .
