Tina Mroczkowski Joins Shutts & Bowen’s Sarasota Office as Trust & Estates Partner

SARASOTA, Fla. - Nov. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Tina M. Mroczkowski has joined the Sarasota office of Shutts & Bowen LLP as a partner in its Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Most recently she had been corporate counsel for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. (CFSC).

Ms. Mroczkowski’s practice focuses on estate and trust tax planning and administration. She also has significant experience in general corporate, tax, and business law, and advises tax-exempt organizations.  For 16 years prior to her work with CFSC, Ms. Mroczkowski was in private practice in Chicago working with trust, estate and corporate clients. She spent five of those years as an attorney in the Estate Administration Department of Bank of America in Chicago where she was the Senior Vice President.

Ms. Mroczkowski’s work in the professional, community, and pro bono arenas is extensive.  She is treasurer and a member of the board of directors of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers-Sarasota Chapter, a board member of the Southwest Florida Planned Giving Council, and a member of the Southwest Florida and Venice Estate Planning Councils.  Since 2010, she has served as a Guardian Ad Litem for the 12^th Judicial Circuit serving Sarasota and Manatee counties, and is a member of the Catholic Lawyers Guild.

Ms. Mroczkowski received her L.L.M. in taxation with honors from the DePaul University College of Law, her J.D. with honors from the John Marshall Law School, and her B.S. with honors in finance from the University of Illinois College of Commerce. She is admitted to the United States Tax Court and admitted to practice in both Florida and Illinois.
