By: Author, Cortney Johnson Officially published in September 2014, an official launch and book signings are still being finalized with dates and locations pending. Johnson will use her book as a platform to speak on topics such as self-esteem, self discovery, transition and of course, freedom. When asked why she decided to reveal such personal details of her past, the author responds, “I wrote it for healing. Not only did I need to get some things off my chest for relief and the ability to move on, but I want to be an inspiration for anyone who may be going through something and are on the verge of giving up. I want people to see that it does get better.” The author hopes that many will read her testimony and avoid some of the pitfalls and traps that could strip one of their freedom. The author is available for speaking engagements and is willing to address diverse audiences (both male and female) who may benefit from hearing her story firsthand. Freedom: How I Became Her is available for purchase on Amazon in both print and digital formats.
