Dominion Investment Group Sponsors New Indian River State College Scholarship

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Dominion Investment Group is pleased to announce the launch of its 2015 Scholarship opportunity in service to Indian River State College.

“As a proud business in St. Lucie County, we look forward to being able to assist the students in our community looking to advance and further their education,” said Managing Partner, Daryl Bank.

Dominion will be awarding one, $1,000 scholarship to a high school student enrolled in a St. Lucie County high school with intentions of attending Indian River State College in pursuit of a business degree.

All applicants will be responsible for writing an essay on the “Importance of starting a business in our community.”

The Group will also be attending the 2^nd Annual Entrepreneurship & Small Business Conference at IRSC on November 20^th as a local keynote speaker. This one-day event was designed to review resources and best practices to promote entrepreneurship in today’s economy. All eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. This renewable scholarship will be awarded Summer 2015 for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The scholarship recipient will be announced Summer 2015 and the award will be distributed directly to Indian River State College Foundation Office.
