Scott Mattern Joins PRMI to Expand Northwest Presence

SALT LAKE CITY - Nov. 6, 2014 - PRLog -- Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI), one of the largest retail mortgage lenders in the nation, announced today that Scott Mattern has joined the firm as a regional manager. In this role Mattern will expand the company’s presence in Oregon and southwest Washington, and will recruit one of the most elite teams of mortgage originators in the state.

Prior to joining PRMI, Mattern served as district manager for Guild Mortgage. He turned the company, which had zero market share, into one of the top five retail originators in Oregon and southwest Washington by expanding Guild’s presence to 17 offices and 200 employees within only four years. Mattern also served as a regional manager over five western states for First Horizon Home Loans, which was eventually acquired by MetLife.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mattern is actively involved with the Oregon Football Association. The organization reconnects former University of Oregon football players who have moved on to careers in the NFL by encouraging their participation in athletic mentoring programs and sports camps for underprivileged children.
