Aim Brightness Where Needed with Aven LED Task Lights

New workplace illumination choices have flexible goosenecks and are designed for mounting alongside machine tools, assembly benches, inspection stations, lab tables or desks. One model has a magnetic base.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Nov. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Four LED task light models expand Aven’s illumination lines for industrial, research and academic workplaces.

The varied sizes of gooseneck lamps have high-intensity LEDs and black metal shades that stay cool. Three styles are designed for vertical or horizontal mounting alongside machine tools, assembly benches, inspection stations, lab tables or desks. A fourth version has a magnetic base for secure positioning on metal surfaces.

"Our directional work lights are ideal for mounting on lathes, grinders, presses and other shop areas," says Aven president Mike Shahpurwala. "Long, flexible necks allow easy positioning, and the LEDs use much less energy than traditional lamps."

The white LEDs also illuminate more intensely than halogen bulbs, making them ideal for small parts assembly and precision tooling. The SMD diodes are rated for at least 20,000 hours of use.

Other applications include troubleshooting and repair, parts sorting and packaging.

Each lamp has a gooseneck arm that stays firmly in place wherever it’s adjusted, Here are the sizes and styles:

♦ Domed shade with 36-inch arm and 36 LEDs. Shade diameter is 6.6 inches.

♦ Domed shade with 23-inch arm for shorter-reach applications. Same shade size and number of LEDs.

♦ Compact shade (2.25-inch diameter) wirh18-inch arm and 10 LEDs. Unblocked view in tight spots.

♦ Magnetic base with four-inch cylindrical shade, 18-inch arm and 24 LEDs. Easy repositioning on most metal surfaces.

These Aven LED Task Lights have a power adapter, five-foot cord and control switch.

Aven lighting selections also include 14 magnifying lamp models.
