Friends of the Children's Justice Center of Maui Annual Fundraiser Raises over $70,000 in one night

WAILUKU, Hawaii - Oct. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui hosted their annual fundraiser on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the King Kamehameha Golf Club.  Over $70,000 was raised in a single night with guests bidding on a wonderful array of silent and live auction items as well as paddle bids.  Auctioneer, Graham Crow, was excellent at encouraging all guests to contribute and participate in giving. Guests also enjoyed a lot of laughs as comedian, Frank Delima, delivered one entertaining joke after another.

The funds raised during that single night will be utilized for the prevention and education of abuse and neglect, as well as the aid and support that is provided to victims of child abuse and neglect in Maui County.  The Friends hope that the contributions will make a positive impact on those victims and also to educate the public on this serious matter.

The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of Maui is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1989 by a non-partisan group of community and business leaders, who were concerned with the social welfare of children who have suffered from abuse and neglect.
