Actress Keiko Elizabeth Pursues the Truth on CBS’s “Criminal Minds”, Airing November 12, 2014

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Actress Keiko Elizabeth goes after the facts as reporter Cynthia Wilson in an all-new episode of CBS’s long-running drama, “Criminal Minds”, scheduled to air on November 12, 2014. Then, Elizabeth heads over to TNT for an episode of the hit drama, “Major Crimes”, in December.

“Criminal Minds”, now in its tenth season, follows an elite group of profilers as they analyze the nation’s most dangerous criminal minds. In the episode, “Hashtag”, reporter Cynthia Wilson (Elizabeth) pursues Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) and Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) to uncover what they know about the killer.

Elizabeth was eager for the opportunity to play a reporter, commenting, “Journalism is such an exciting field. I’ve always been attracted to the job of the field reporter, and it’s so amazing as an actor to be able to portray women in professions that I’ve dreamed of pursuing.”

Then on December 1, Elizabeth will move to cable where she appears on an episode of the TNT drama, “Major Crimes”. A spin-off of the hit series, “The Closer”, “Major Crimes” follows the major crimes unit of the Los Angeles Police Department led by Captain Raydor (Mary McDonnell). In the episode titled “Party Foul”, Elizabeth plays a nurse who assists the team as they unravel a mysterious death at a party.

Previously, Elizabeth has appeared on numerous television shows, including “Hawaii Five-O”, “Hot in Cleveland”, and “Days of Our Lives”. She also produced the comedic webseries “Manny in Real Life”, set to release in December 2014.

The northern California native didn’t find her way to Hollywood until later in life, citing her work as an inner-city middle school teacher in Oakland with her attraction to characters who are trying to do the right thing in spite of sometimes overwhelming odds.  After several years as a math and science teacher, she made the decision to move to Southern California, where she enrolled and earned an MFA from Cal State Fullerton and began her professional acting career.
