Premier Source Marketing Group Begins Team Development Initiative, Hiring Push

Lombard, IL – Premier Source Marketing Group has recently begun a new hiring push and team development initiative that promises to increase the firm’s service capacity. Although only in an early stage, this program is already proving successful.
 
LOMBARD, Ill. - Oct. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- The marketing and consulting services firm offers an innovative and effective form of promotions. This has resulted in significant demand for its services from both local and global businesses. Consequently, the firm is under pressure to further develop its team and to increase its capacity. This is a challenge that Paul, the firm’s director, believes this initiative will help them to meet.

“It’s important to us to always deliver the highest quality of service,” he stated. “As demand grows, we need to make sure that we’re growing with it. This means that we’re continually updating our systems to stay ahead of the game.”

Paul explained that the company is approaching the issue with a two-pronged plan. The first part of the initiative will focus on hiring new associates. The second part will emphasize team development. He will be running both of these activities simultaneously.

“Company culture is a big part of recruiting,” he explained. “Having a workplace where even the newest team members can thrive is key. Also, a great working environment differentiates us from other firms.”

As such, they will be working to develop their team with activities and fun events while they are hiring. They hope that many of the carefully designed team building activities will also help to highlight new leaders. While the firm has already been successful at building a strong team, Paul and his colleagues believe it is time to formalize the process.

“Our team is great,” stated Paul, “but from now on we need to be a bit more scientific about how we develop team morale and identify leaders. I think this initiative will be especially successful in that regard.”

Premier Source Marketing Group’s Director Discusses New Hires

In talking about Premier Source Marketing Group’s recent hiring push, Paul had some interesting thoughts to share on hiring new team members, especially for firms that are doing so for the first time. “My biggest piece of advice is not to skip your homework,” he said. “A lot of new companies are strapped for cash, so they don’t do any background checking or verification. Many don’t do illegal substance checks either. While these sorts of things may seem unnecessary, it is better to be safe than sorry; hiring a replacement is a lot more expensive than practicing due diligence.”

Paul also advised businesses to take the time to get organized. He said, “As with due diligence, it is good practice to get your records straight. It may not seem important, especially with a first hire, but take the time to create a record for them that captures all of their key info. Spending the time to do things right is always worthwhile.”
