Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson (KAF) announces Walk Across America Challenge

BRAINTREE, Mass. - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson, LLC (KAF) one of the leading CPA firms in the Boston area, has embarked on a 10-week Walk Across America Challenge with partner A Healthy Balance, Inc. as part of their ongoing health and wellness initiative.

KAF has long focused on providing a culture that encourages health, wellness and a balance between employee’s work and personal lives.  To fulfill this commitment, KAF partners with A Healthy Balance, Inc., an organization that works with clients to incorporate realistic nutrition, fitness and wellness habits into everyday lifestyle.

The wellness program provides employees the opportunity to participate in one-on-one coaching, a wellness portal to log and track individual goals and progress and activities to earn points and prizes.  A Healthy Balance also provides KAF employees with weekly recipes, motivation, and tips to maintain a healthy standard of life.

This fall, KAF in conjunction with A Healthy Balance, will kick off a 10-week Walk Across America Challenge.  The firm has formed five teams that will compete against each other while making their way across the 3,000 miles from Braintree, Massachusetts to Napa, California.  Teams will work together to rack up points through walking and completing bonus challenges at different checkpoint cities across the country.
