Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Announces Hire of Ruth A. Schoenmeyer As Of Counsel

CHICAGO - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, a national real estate law firm with offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, announced Ruth A. Schoenmeyer has joined the firm as of counsel in the Chicago office. Schoenmeyer’s practice will be focused on retail leasing.

Prior to joining Pircher, Nichols & Meeks,Schoenmeyer was Senior Counsel at McDonald’s Corporation where she negotiated leases and purchase agreements with respect to new restaurants and office space.  Additionally, she addressed the land use and litigation issues which arise in connection with new restaurants. Previously, Schoenmeyer was also of counsel for Jenner & Block LLP where she drafted and negotiated office, retail, industrial, build-to-suit and airport leases.

Schoenmeyer is an active author and speaker, and has presented at various conferences including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) U.S. Shopping Center Law Conference and the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Spring Symposia. She currently serves as Chair of the Retail Leasing Committee of the ABA, and is a member of the board of directors for Illinois Legal Aid Online.

Schoenmeyer earned both her J.D. and bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
