KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Sept. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Robert Weir and Sally Stap will be at Kazoo Books at 2413 Parkview, Kalamazoo, Michigan from 6:30 to 8:00 pm on September 17 to discuss their experiences with brain tumors and writing memoirs.  Each book is different, but with very common themes: Sally’s Smiling Again: Coming Back to Life and Faith After Brain Surgery and Robert’s Brain Tumor: Life, Love, Lessons – A True Novel share their journeys with abrupt and life-changing brain tumor diagnosis as well as their ongoing recovery. Sally and Robert are looking forward to meeting readers to discuss brain tumor recovery and caregiver tips.

Too frequently, brain tumors occur with no definitive cause, grow for years quietly, and are life changing when they are diagnosed and treated. Throughout their books, Sally and Robert paint the importance of having a strong support system for recovery.  While some patients skate through surgery and recovery, many are left with residual issues that are exhausting and real.  Smiling Again and Brain Tumor were written in the hope that they could help patients and caregivers. The books include life lessons that can guide others who face any type of health crisis.
