Orange Country Drug Rehab Center Welcomes Clinical Psychologist

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. - Sept. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- Get Real Recovery, Inc., a drug and alcohol rehab center based in south Orange County, California has added a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to their team of recovery specialists.

The center felt a psychologist could help fulfill their mission of providing high quality, laser focused, affordable intensive outpatient and aftercare programs to people suffering from addiction. After an extensive search, co-founders Lori Cattern and Larry Smith were pleased to find a perfect fit for their goals in Dr. Eileen Kramer.

“When we met Dr. Kramer, we knew she was the right person to help deliver our program and inspire growth in our clients,” says Larry Smith. “Her compassionate nature, coupled with her profound understanding of the all aspects of addiction recovery, gives her a unique perspective into recovery.”

Dr. Kramer’s passion for recovery meshes seamlessly with Get Real Recovery’s dedication to hands-on and personal quality care. The center’s staff has more than 150 years of combined experience in addiction recovery to pass on to their clients.

Dr. Eileen Kramer has been successfully treating individuals with addiction and mental disorders since 1999.  She has extensive experience working with dual diagnosis patients and her work has been endorsed by double board certified psychiatrist and New York Times best-selling author Daniel Amen, M.D.  Her patients have ranged from homeless people to veterans and movie stars. She often quotes, “There is no fast-tract in recovery, I’m here for my patients for the long haul.”

Before working in recovery, Dr. Kramer was a highly successful Realtor in Dallas Texas, and also a life coach touring with Tony Robbins. After getting sober herself, she went back to school for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  She spent a decade as a probation-certified provider specializing in substance abuse and mandated court treatment for domestic violence and child abuse. Most recently, Dr. Kramer was the Clinical Director of a large Residential Inpatient and Intensive Outpatient treatment center.

In her new role at Get Real, Dr. Kramer will oversee all clinical aspects for the program.  She will provide therapy for individuals and families, and act as a primary group facilitator. With her on the team, Get Real Recovery Inc has taken another meaningful step toward reinforcing their standing as one of the premiere treatment facilities in southern California.
