Seattle Seahawks beat the Green Bay Packers 36 to 16 on the NFL Kickoff Tonight!

The Seattle Seahawks dominated the entire game much like they did to the Denver Broncos in last years Super Bowl. Unbelievable that a team could be that good under the new NFL Salary Cap requirements. Great players, great coaches, great team!! #LOB

MCKINNEY, Texas - Sept. 5, 2014 - PRLog -- On the Thursday night NFL kickoff game between the two defending NFL Championship teams the more recent one of the two looked stronger.  The game started off with the Seattle Seahawks showing their defensive dominance.  With "gun shy" quarterback Aaron Rodgers behind center, the Green Bay Packers struggled to get anything going until the 4th quarter.  The Seahawks won the Lombardi Trophy last year crushing the number one Denver Broncos offense and the Packers beat the Steelers who was known for their superior Defense in Super Bowl XLV.

The Packers started off slow capitalizing on a special team error made by Seahawks Punt Returner Earl Thomas.  With the exception of that possession and another field goal by Crosby in the Redzone, the Packers did an "offense double check" and there was none until one good drive in the 4th quarter.  Are the Green Bay Packers that shaky on offense or are the Seahawks that strong on Defense would be a question that will be answered as the season goes on.  For now the defending Super Bowl Champions will take a convincing 20 point victory and head into week two with the heads held high.

What is so special about Richard Sherman?  In last years contest in the NFC Championship game, Sherman made a spectacular play at the end of the game.  His comments that followed that play shocked the world and Erin Andrews.  In my opinion, if you have the chance to address the world after a "Superstar Performance" it's important to act like you've been there and belong there.  Another good idea would be to acknowledge the other players on the field that contributed to your personal success.  Despite the lack of class shown, Sherman was able to back up his smack talk one more time as Aaron Rodgers didn't even think about throwing it in Sherman's direction tonight. 36 -16
