Follow on Google News | Daystar Sends Bibles to the Underground Church in ChinaDaystar Television Network has made a critical donation towards spreading the Gospel in China by providing Bibles to the underground church.
China was a country long closed off to Christianity, but recently missionaries have made their way across the borders, reaching those who would otherwise have been unreachable. Dennis Balcombe and his wife, Kathy, were among some of the first American missionaries to make the dangerous trek into China, and have been ministering to the Chinese people since 1969. They started Revival Christian Church, and over the years the congregation has grown to over 800 believers. All donations are going towards the purchase and distribution of Bibles into the underground church of China, a community in desperate need of the Word of God. Daystar is honored to support missionaries like the Balcombe’s as they work to further the kingdom of God, spreading the Gospel into places that were once unreachable. “Daystar’s faithful partners have made it possible to donate over $210,000 to Dennis and Kathy Balcombe’s ministry in China. It is such a blessing to know that the Daystar family is helping to supply underground churches with Bibles. You could say, with God’s help, we are planting seeds into good soil,” says Marcus Lamb, President and CEO of Daystar Television Network.
