Nygård For Life - absolutely our corporate charity of choice

Aug. 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Over the years, NYGÅRD's charitable platform, NYGÅRD for Life has encompassed a number of initiatives; While the program's focus and commitment has and will continue to be…to help eradicate breast cancer, we have expanded it to also include a mandate that enhances all aspects of the lives of women.

    Our sponsorships include our annual endowment fund to CancerCare. This fund allows CancerCare to bring in world class researchers to work at the NYGÅRD sponsored Breast Cancer Tumour bank. We also sponsor members of the Symphony Orchestra to play for breast cancer patients while they receive treatment and have provided specially designed mammography gowns for patients. All monies raised through NYGÅRD for Life directly impacts Breast Cancer survivors and to further the much needed research to find a cure.

    As part of our effort to raise awareness, our fashion shows feature breast cancer survivors.
